The Talbot Soil Conservation District, in partnership with the St. Mary’s Soil Conservation District, is pleased to announce the local winners of the 2021 Coloring Contest event. There were 110 entries in three categories from three different local schools. All local winners will receive a gift card to Michaels craft store – 1st place receives $25, 2nd and 3rd places receive $15. All of the students did a great job and made it extremely difficult to select the top three in each category. Each first place winner will be judged at the August Maryland Association of Soil Conservation District’s meeting. State winners will receive $25 cash.

Congratulations to all of the winners! All coloring contest artwork will be returned to each school along with gift cards, except the 1st place winners’ artworks. Again, all of the students did a great job and the Talbot SCD looks forward to working with you again in future contests!
