Third Grade marks a wonderful transition to “big kid” and our teachers know students are ready to begin that journey toward greater responsibility and self-discipline. It’s wonderful to see the students progress and continue on the next phase of their educational journey. Our intermediate level teachers take pride in giving students the tools they need to grow and learn. During these grades, students develop the skills needed to become an active partner in their own learning.

Special topics include an in-depth focus on lives of the Saints, Maryland history and geography, and creating and performing a live Stations of the Cross. Students also work diligently to Western Hemisphere country research projects and multi-sensory presentations. Instrumental band lessons and theatre options are available for students.
